About the Author:
National best-selling author Angelique Armae / J. C. Makk is a native New Yorker who loves all things royal, can trace her Irish roots back to the Scottish Highlands, is half Italian, and is owned by a long-haired Tuxedo feline. As a child her favorite toy was Emerald The Witch, a small doll with green eyes, green hair and purple skin. She spends most days writing, unless her cat deems otherwise.Author Interview

If you could be a shifter what would you be and what would your partner be?
I’d want to be a panther or some form of big cat. Housecat would be okay, too. Actually, I’d like to be able to shift into any form of cat depending on the moment.

What prompted you to write this book or series?
A FLOCK OF DARKNESS is a spin-off novella from my Vampire Lovely series about twelve sisters who inherit a clan of Irish vampires and shifters and then embark on a journey of magick, danger, and ultimately love.
