Meet 'Fated Mates' Author, Molly Zenk!
Today, the Fated Mates boxed set would like to introduce you to Author Molly Zenk.
About the Author:
Molly Zenk was born in Minnesota, grew up in Florida, lived briefly in Tennessee, before finally settling in Colorado. She writes across genres including historical, romance, and young adult. Molly is married to a Mathematician/Software Engineer who complains about there not being enough math or info about him in her author bio. They live in Arvada, CO with their daughters.Author Interview
We had the privilege of asking Molly a few questions about writing. Here's what she had to say:
What prompted you to write this book or series?
Do you plot ahead of time or let the story emerge as you write?
The
characters wouldn't leave co-author Sarah Biglow and I alone! All other
projects went completely to the wayside while we wrote the Captivity series.
After we finished the three book series, we started writing prequel short stories.
We go where the characters lead us.
We had a
plot outline but the characters ignored it. I like to say "remember when
Captivity was supposed to be a nice second chance shifter romance?" It
morphed into so much more.
What's
your writing schedule?
I have
three special needs children. My writing schedule depends completely on their
school and therapy schedule. Right now, I have 15 hours a week where all are in
school. Next fall, that will bump to 30 hours a week. I won't know what to do
with myself. My writing productivity drops to almost zero during school
holidays.
If
someone looked at your browsing history right now, what would they find?
All sorts of weird things. Some are Captivity related like "what are the parts of a
feather" and "how far is it from Manhattan to Seattle walking."
Others probably make it seem like I'm a serial killer.

About the Book
